Through an official communication dated November 22, 2022, the National Telecommunications Commission (CONATEL), has announced the beginning of the Public Consultation of the draft reform of the Administrative Ruling containing “The Conditions for the Qualification of Free Use Equipment”. This was announced through its official web site.
Comments on this draft regulation will be received by CONATEL through the Electronic Forum officially provided for this purpose, until December 12, 2022.
Highlights:
• Definitions are modified, and new ones are incorporated (Article 1)
• The acronym “ISM: Industrial, Scientific and Medical” is incorporated (Article 2)
• The “Operability Conditions of Article 5” are modified. (Article 3).
