Swearing-in of the new MTC Minister in Peru
The new President of the Republic of Peru, Keiko Fujimori, swore in Rafael Rey Rey as the new Minister of Transport and Communications (MTC).
The new head of the MTC is an industrial engineer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP), as well as a journalist and politician with a long and distinguished record of service to the country; throughout his professional career, he has excelled in roles such as deputy for three consecutive terms, member of the Constituent Congress, Minister of Production, Minister of Defense, Ambassador of Peru to Italy, Turkey, and San Marino, and director of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru.
